Technical Requirements
If you want to upload Canva Compatible Design Templates, follow these steps.
1. Prepare Your Primary Design:
- Create a design template in a required file format for your chosen sub-category. (eg. PSD for Print Templates) This file is the Primary Design File. Your Canva design will be a Companion to this file.
2. Build Your Editable Canva Version:
- Create a copy of your Primary Design using Canva’s design creation tool, ensuring the elements and layout are the same as the Primary File.
3. Prepare the files for upload to Envato Elements:
- Create a separate text file with a link to the Canva version of the design, include a distinct and high-quality preview images file for each Canva link and clearly name the file with the format "[The name of your Primary Template] Canva Link".
- Do not include Canva links directly within help files or item descriptions.
The Canva link is created by:
- Click Share from the menu bar above the Canva editor.
- Select the Template link.
- Click Create template link.
- You’ll see Live at the top of the Template link once done.
Then, copy the link and paste it into your text file.
4. Add the Canva Links and the Primary Design files to a zip file and upload them to Envato Elements.
