Summary: Here are the main features to be aware of when it comes to updating your items on Envato Market.
Updating approved items can be done within the item page’s ‘Edit’ section. From here you can make changes to description, pricing, tags as well as deleting your item entirely. Some of the updates will require reviewer approval, while others can be made without approval and take effect immediately.
To update an approved item (e.g. to add or remove tags, edit the preview image or similar) navigate to the item page and select the ‘Edit’ tab. In this section, you only need to fill out the section you want to make changes to.
The first section: 'Update Description & Price' can be changed without needing to be checked by a reviewer. Any changes you make in this section will be applied automatically to your item. You must click 'Save Changes' to confirm any changes made in this section.
The second section: ‘Manage Discount’ can be used to discount your items. Read more about it here.
The third section: 'Update Item and Tags' contains information that is checked by a reviewer before being applied to your item. Once you make your changes, make sure that you have added useful notes explaining the changes you have made in the 'Message to Reviewer' section, and then click 'Submit Files for Review'.
This places the item in an update queue, which has priority over the regular review queue, ensuring that update reviews occur quickly. If the update is accepted, the item will automatically be visible in your portfolio with the desired changes.
The final section: ‘Delete the item’ is how you remove your items from sale. Make sure you’re certain you want to delete the item, because once you have deleted it, you can’t change your mind. We also don’t allow authors to re-upload previously deleted items.
If you make changes to multiple sections, make sure you have clicked 'Save Changes' before submitting the item for review.
