Summary: As a marketplace platform, we recognize and respect individual authors’ right to protect against copyright violations and unauthorized use of their content. This includes the use of digital fingerprinting systems such as YouTube’s Content ID, as well as related YouTube Partner platforms such as AdRev, Audiam, or TuneCore which help manage and administer this copyrighted content on their behalf.
To help ensure a consistent experience for buyers, and that there are no issues for videos using licensed music, there are some additional requirements and obligations for authors with digitally fingerprinted music.

Item Description
If your music is registered with Content ID, you must include the following HTML snippet near the top of the item description on your individual item pages:
<a href="https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/204484680"><img src="https://s3.envato.com/assets/audiojungle/content_id.png"> </a>
The above code will appear as follows, linking customers to more information on our Author Help Center.
Additionally, authors registered via AdRev may wish to include the following extra copy & link to more directly assist YouTube customers:
YouTube users: to clear any copyright claims on your videos (including monetized videos), simply visit this page, enter your details and video link and copy/paste the contents from your purchased License Certificate into the message box. Claims are removed within 24 – 96 hours.
Content ID Attributes
If your music is registered with Content ID, you must set the YouTube Content ID Registered attribute on the item upload/edit page to Yes, otherwise, simply set it to No. If yes, you must also specify which platform you have registered your music within the YouTube Content ID Administered By attribute.
Responsibility for Clearing Claims
While customers are issued a license certificate and purchase code that can be used to help clear copyright claims on YouTube, as an author on AudioJungle it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure any Content ID copyright claims on your licensed music are cleared promptly and professionally. Should a customer contact you for help with clearing any claims, we expect you to assist them and expedite the process to the best of your ability.
Any AudioJungle music that has been appropriately licensed by a customer and used in a YouTube video shall not be monetized, muted, blocked, or otherwise obstructed or exploited by you or any 3rd party administering your copyrighted content in any way.
If a Content ID platform does not allow for copyright claims to be fully cleared on licensed AudioJungle music, or otherwise prevents you from fulfilling these responsibilities as an AudioJungle author, you must not register your AudioJungle music with that platform.
3rd Party Programs
Please be aware that some administrative services may offer to submit your music to additional 3rd party publishing/licensing programs on your behalf. If you are an exclusive author, you must not opt-in to any such programs, nor may you use any administration services that require participation in these programs.
Please be very careful about with whom and where you register/administer your music and always check the small print. Failure to do so could potentially break your exclusivity and/or membership agreement with Envato.
For AdRev users: This means that if you are an exclusive author on AudioJungle, you must request that they exclude your music from the YouTube AudioSwap program.
Tell It Like It Is
We expect members of our community to be honest, straightforward and accurate in what you present to others about your items, including whether or not it is registered with a digital fingerprinting system.
While we will always do our best to give you the opportunity to remedy the situation, failure to follow the above guidelines may result in potential disablement of your item(s), or worst-case scenario your account.
