Why are there two earnings statements?
There is one statement for your Elements earnings and one for any incentive earnings. These statements are separated as incentives are paid out in a different cycle than standard earnings. As such, each statement will correspond to a payout period from Envato.
Why have I only got one earnings statement when the article says there are two?
If you only have one statement for a given time period then you have not earned any incentive earnings beyond the standard Envato Elements Item Earnings and Elements Content Bonus. Make sure you keep your eyes out for competitions, promotions and content challenges for exciting ways to make more money doing what you love.
Can I see a statement for a different time period?
You can select any available statement from the drop-down menu, however, you cannot specify a different time range than what is available. The statements are specifically tied to the earnings payout periods for a given month. We suggest that you use the earnings features within the Envato Author Dashboard to look into specific earnings time ranges.
Why do I have a statement, but I haven’t been paid?
We generate an earnings statement with new earnings each month at the same time we pay authors. We payout earnings into your nominated account on the 16th of the month if it is a weekday. If the 16th falls on a weekend, your earnings will be paid on the following Monday. Incentive earnings are paid on or before the 25th of every month.
If that timeframe has already passed and you have not yet been paid consider the following:
- Ensure you’ve got an active payout method in the Elements app
- There is a minimum payout threshold of USD $50 that applies to your earnings, as per the author agreement. Your earnings will continue to accumulate and your first payout will occur up to two months after you’ve reached this threshold.
Should none of the above resolve the issue, please get in touch with the Author Support Team for assistance.
