Welcome to Elements! We’re so glad to have you onboard. This is Part One of our Get Started Guide Series for audio authors on Elements.
Here we’ve outlined the fundamental areas to understand when selling on Elements, to help you achieve the maximum value from being an author on Envato Elements, and the considerations you’ll need to make as you choose items to include in your portfolio.
How can authors gain the most value from Elements? It comes down to a high quality, well balanced offering and publishing regularly.
Selling on Elements
We know it may be tempting to start out with older or poorly performing items, however, with such a curated collection of items, outdated and inconsistent quality content will be very obvious to customers and aren’t likely to perform well on Envato Elements either.
So, while it’s okay to shake the dust off a few hidden gems in your portfolio, make sure that the items you put forward for Elements are your best. When you start out with your best quality items, the more subscribers you’re likely to attract, and with them the earnings to match.
As you plan your portfolio for Envato Elements, remember that the best results start with the best items. This means the more high quality and diverse the selection of items you upload, the more likely you are to develop loyal fans and increase earnings in the future.
So with this in mind, authors are expected to contribute regularly to Elements and this is outlined in our Publishing Expectations Guidelines here.
