Before you dive into all things Elements, we wanted to give you a few pointers and reminders to help you understand what it means to be an Elements author. Please read through the following information carefully before you start to upload and publish items. We're here to help should you have questions.
Author Help Center
This is the Author Help Center. Here you'll find answers to common questions and information to help you succeed as an author on the site. Explore the help center when you get a chance, but in the meantime we've compiled all of the essential information you need to get started right here, in this article.
Unlimited Access Subscription & Revenue Share
Envato Elements offers customers a compelling, unlimited subscription offer. We'll be sharing 50% of net subscription revenue with authors using the subscriber share model.
Trusting You to Only Publish Quality Items
We offer benefits like a high revenue share in comparison to competitors and no item-level review (giving you immediate results and control over your own portfolio). In return, we expect you to self manage and only publish your best assets to Envato Elements. With no item-level review, it's up to you to help ensure the Elements library offers only the best quality assets subscribers expect.
Please Note: no item-level review doesn't apply to Graphic, Design and Photo categories.
Publish Your Envato Market Items to Elements - Even if You're Exclusive!
If you're an exclusive Market author, you're permitted to sell your items on Envato Elements without any change to your exclusive status or earnings rate on Market. Envato Elements & Envato Market are both run by Envato, so think of your exclusivity as Envato-wide.
Publishing Your Portfolio
Envato Elements has unique requirements for items published to the site, along with different standards for titles, tags, descriptions & preview images. It's crucial that you familiarise yourself with these requirements prior to uploading and publishing your portfolio to Elements. If items do not comply with our quality or presentation standards, we may remove them during our regular quality checks.

Key Things to Remember
Avoid excessive branding or text on your Cover Images. Use the Tagline field if you wish to promote key features & benefits of your item.
All images you upload to Envato Elements must be high-quality. Do not upload any images which are upscaled, distorted or over compressed.
When uploading larger files you may encounter a small delay (1-2 minutes) before the uploader shows progress. We're working to improve this.
Do not include links, HTML or email addresses in your Item Description.
Only upload your best items.
