We have built a function through the Photo Manager that offers Photo Authors a clear view of photos that have been disabled and the reasons why. The disabled photos view will help Authors better meet our quality standards or address any other important issues.
As part of our quality assurance process, Envato reserves the right to disable an item temporarily to ensure it adheres to the quality standards and legal requirements of our marketplace.
To view your disabled items, please follow the steps below:
- Log into your Envato Market account and select PhotoDune. Select your username in the top right-hand corner of the browser, scroll down to Author Settings, then select your dashboard.
- Under the Upload photos button on the right-hand side of the dashboard, there will be a section called Photo Manager.
- The Photo Manager provides you with tools to manage your portfolio. Click the Start managing now button to view your items and this will lead you to the Manage Library and Disabled Items tabs. Click the disabled items tab and this will show a grid of your disabled items. When no items are selected, the side panel will show a list of useful links for resources related to photo standards and requirements.
- If you click on an individual disabled item, you will be able to see important details on a panel on the right-hand side, which includes: The title of your image, the date it was published, the date it was disabled and the reason why it has been disabled. Disabled items can be sorted by image title, date published, date disabled and reasons why.
There will also be a link to a Help Centre article relating to the reason/issue of why your item has been disabled to provide further information and help you resolve this.
These issues include:
- Authenticity
- Broken Image
- Composition / Lighting
- Does not meet photo requirements
- Editorial content is not allowed on Photodune/Elements
- Illegal Content
- Incorrect Content Type
- Isolated Objects require proper lighting and isolating technique
- Intellectual Property Infringement
- Overprocessing / Overfiltering
- Repeats / Too Similar
- Stolen Content
- Mature Content
If the issue is something you are able to correct, you can make the changes and then publish a new photo via the upload steps you usually use (i.e. FTP or Web upload via PhotoDune).
